2018 Results

Statewide Wins

Democrats won all statewide offices in 2018, the first time that has happened since 1936.

Jared Polis defeated Walker Stapleton. He is the first openly gay and the first Jewish governor in the country.

Phil Weiser is  our new Attorney General, succeeding Cynthia Coffman.

Jena Griswold is our Secretary of State, defeating Wayne Williams, and becoming the first Democrat to win the seat in over 60 years.

Dave Young is as our State Treasurer, beating Brian Watson.

Lesley Smith is our CU Regent At-Large, defeating Ken Montera.

Congressional Wins

Colorado Democrats now control four of Colorado's seven seats.

Jason Crow defeated Mike Coffman in Congressional District 6 and is the first Democrat to ever hold the seat.

Colorado State Senate Wins

The Colorado Senate Democrats won control of the State Senate and now have a 19-16 majority.

Colorado State House Wins

The Colorado House Democrats expanded their majority, winning several seats that had previously been held by Republicans including Tom Sullivan, House District 37

Additionally, every Democratic member who sought re-election was returned to the State House!
